On Wednesday, October 9th, wear ORANGE to celebrate Unity Day, a national effort to raise awareness of bullying prevention efforts through events, activities, outreach, and education. This effort comes during October, which has been designated as National Bullying Prevention Month. Some of our PAUSD schools will be creating school-wide "Unity" paper chains that will visually represent the power of uniting for a common cause. Classrooms are organizing many different activities, including writing about or drawing pictures of what they can do to make schools safe places for everyone. These events are co-sponsored by the Special Education Community Advisory Committee.
